In addition to her work at YKBL, Yoshi is currently supporting Japanese and American entrepreneurs, including female entrepreneurs working in the fitness and health industry, through business coaching.
The reader may not be aware that this is really not a new field for her. In fact, there are a lot of reasons why this work is a natural extension of the process she has been through over the 20 plus years of her career.

After making her Pilates and coaching business successful in Japan, she then applied that knowledge to starting a new location of the business in the United States, in a completely different cultural and economic environment.  It was her success with this transition to the US that gave her the impetus to want to help others in their business models, operations and approaches.
One of the bases for the success of her companies is undoubtedly her special understanding of coaching and how those coaching skills found in teaching at YKBL are so easily transitioned to coaching others in business development.
As a trainer, coach and entrepreneur for over 20 years, she has refined her approach to both work and lifestyle, while at the same time cultivating the skills to guide each client to achieve their goals.  In doing business coaching,  she focuses on helping her clients choose and clarify their goals so as to achieve business success, while supporting  their own unique ideas and lifestyle. This process is a business extension of the goal she has always been focused upon realizing for both herself and her clients at YKBL.
In a sense, the content of her work at YKBL, while taking the form of Pilates and whole-body training sessions, can also be said to have been “coaching to help her clients maximize the health of their mind and body, while developing their own unique ideal lifestyle”.

The success of her efforts in creating two new “start-up” businesses, in the vastly different cultural and business environments of Japan and America, establish that the model and approach work and can be replicated for others.
After her first success in Japan, she could have just continued that business, but that is not who Yoshi is as a person.  Instead, she embraced the challenge of transplanting her ideas and energy to try and make them work in America. This new challenge she took on was not an easy one, but has proven so successful that she has been inspired to share her path with others. Her choices reflect her pride in deciding how to live her life, while wholeheartedly supporting others who want to take on new challenges, professionally and personally.

She envisions a future where she can use her knowledge and experience to help her clients build their lives, careers and businesses. While doing so, she will also be open to help create synergies between Japan and the US when those opportunities arise.
For the entrepreneurs or others who join her in business coaching, the time working with her will be well spent, productive, and also fun and exciting.

She provides online sessions internationally from Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA and is “home” in Japan at times during each year.
